VIC 2004 Special Sessions

There will be seven special sessions and a small number of contributed talks. Titles and abstracts are available through the Atlas Mathematical Conference Abstracts service.

Rod Downey (Victoria) is organizing a session on Computational Complexity.

Shayne Waldron (Auckland) is organizing a session on Surface Approximations.

Vitali Milman (Tel-Aviv) and Vladimir Pestov (Ottawa) are organizing a session on Geometric Aspects of Functional Analysis (GAFA).

David Kazhdan (Harvard) and Christopher Atkin (Victoria) are organizing a session on Operator Algebras and Representation Theory.

Bruce Calvert (Auckland), Simeon Reich (Technion) and Dan Butnariu are organizing a spession on Nonlinear Analysis and Optimization.

John Hillas (Auckland), Arkadii Slinko (Auckland) and Matthew Ryan (Auckland) are organizing a session on Game Theory.

Bruce van Brunt (Massey) and Gregory Derfel (Ben-Gurion) are organizing a session on Functional-Differential Equations and Applications.
