The network would also be used in experimenting with a 5-day forecast or longer. The weather measurements to be used, minimum & maximum temperatures(OC), pressure(mb), amount of rain\snow (mm) & sunshine (hrs) for a particular day. The neural network architecture that will be applied will be a Simple Recurrent Network/Elman network, with the weather measurements above used as input and the output from the network will be the same as the input. I would like to hear from anyone who is conducting similar research, into using neural networks for weather forecasting. A R Watson T0115ARW@SOLENT.AC.UK
