STATEMENT OF INTRODUCTION

           artificial NN in meteorology
           automatic interpretation/analysis of satellite imagery
           statistical pattern recognition
           expert systems for weather forecasting
Project: MARTINA (Meteorological ARTificial INtelligence Application)
         In very early stage of development. First task: automatic
         digital image interpretation.
Publications: three articles about remote sensing and GIS applications in
the Bulletin of Council for Remote Sensing and Photointerpretation of the
Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. None of them related to AI.
