Interests:  I am a meteorologist interested in remote sensing.  I am interested
in applying Neural Networks to retrieve atmospheric patameters such as clouds
and precipitation from satellite data.

Projects:  I recently started using neural networks (backpropagation technique)
to train GOES data on SSM/I and radar precipitation estimates.  The idea is
to take advantage of the excellent temporal sampling provided by the GOES
data by training them on colocated SSS/I and radar precipitation estimates.
