Inheritance, Understanding, and OO Design

This brief discussion paper presents some ideas about understanding object-oriented design principles. The ideas concern development of better understanding of designs, especially the effects of inheritance. These issues are particularly relevant to use of object-oriented frameworks, where lack of programmer understanding can severely limit software reuse.
