Jeffrey Azzato, Master's Student
BA, BSc (Hons)
Biography
Jeffrey's main research interest is structural matroid theory. His thesis (now submitted) focused on establishing the existence of linked tree-decompositions of infinite matroids, given representability and bounded tree-width. This result should find application in well- or better-quasi-ordering those infinite matroids representable over a fixed finite field and having bounded tree-width.
Jeffrey is also interested in computational methods in economics, having been involved in several projects led by
Dr Jacek Krawczyk of the
School of Economics and Finance. Several of their working papers in this area are available at various online repositories, such as the
Munich Personal RePEc Archive. There is also an article in the forthcoming June issue of
Automatica.
Singularities in Robot Kinematics - A Publications Database was designed by Jeffrey in conjunction with
Dr Peter Donelan. This database provides a searchable bibliography of publications about singularities in robot kinematics for the online community.
